Donate Blood – Save Lives

Blood donations are vital – every donation can save up to three lives. Especially after the holiday season, blood supplies are often low, and every contribution counts!

On Tuesday, February 3, 2026, a special blood donation event will take place right here at the Max Planck Institute for Neurobiology of Behavior (formerly caesar). In cooperation with the German Red Cross (DRK), we warmly invite everyone interested to take part in this important initiative.

When? February 3, 2026, 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
Where? Max Planck Institute for Neurobiology of Behavior, Ludwig-Erhard-Allee 2, Bonn

On the day of the donation, please check in at the reception desk of our institute. From there, you will be guided to the donation area. We kindly ask all interested participants to register in advance if possible; the appointment booking can be found here.

Please bring a photo ID and allow some time for the donation process and the medical consultation.
