Pupils learn about research on flight control

A great day for a biology Highers school class, who undertook an excursion to caesar to gain insights into the world of a scientist.

After a short introduction about the research conducted at caesar the school class was visiting the research lab of Dr Bettina Schnell. The pupils had a chance to take a closer look at a flys brain and how Bettina and her team are investigating how a small fly brain is able to regulate a complex behavior like flight control.

A career talk by one of our postdoc scientist initiated further discussions and completed an interesting exciting and interesting visit.
