Fifty young physicists introduced to
neuroethology research

The ICPS ("International Conference of Physics Students") occurs every year in a different country on earth. In 2019, Cologne hosts the event, hosted by the University of Cologne and organized by young members of the German Physics Society (DPG). More then 500 next generation physicists, from a plethora of different career stages participate, ranging from Bachelor students to PhD candidates. To highlight the full scientific spectrum of the Bonn-Cologne region, the conference guests visited a number of notable research institutions, among them caesar. In talks and hands-on insights into our research, the students learned more about our field Neuroethology and the challenges of modern electron microscopy.
