Bringing Christmas joy to people in need

During Advent, employees at our institute collected food, hygiene products and toys to bring joy to people and families in difficult social situations. Through this campaign, they supported the Christmas initiative of the Verein für Gefährdetenhilfe Bonn.

Many of the people supported live in circumstances that make it almost impossible to afford Christmas presents or a special meal. The campaign expressed solidarity and aimed to create a moment of appreciation, especially during the holiday season.

The collection was part of this year’s institute Advent calendar. Each day, employees could take on a small, low-threshold task that could easily be integrated into their daily work routine. Especially during a busy period, the Advent calendar encouraged shared activities and fostered togetherness and a sense of Christmas spirit at the institute.

In this way, the campaign combined community engagement with a concrete contribution that reached beyond the institute.
