Event: DZNE Lecture Series
DZNE Lecture Series
We are happy to host the DZNE lecture series this time.
The DZNE lecture series presents world-leading scientists from life science research, covering the diverse research areas at the DZNE including fundamental biology, translational, clinical, epidemiological and systems medicine research. The lectures aim to foster an exchange between disciplines and catalyze scientific interactions. Furthermore, the lecture series puts an emphasis on enabling students and postdocs to informally interact with the speaker.
Speaker: Yang Dan
Yang Dan is a Professor of Neurobiology. Her research lab aims to elucidate (1) what circuits in the mammalian brain control sleep, and (2) mechanisms by which the frontal cortex exerts top-down executive control. They use a variety of techniques, including optogenetics, electrophysiology, imaging, and virus-mediated circuit tracing.
The talk will be in the lecture hall. FFP2 masks will be mandatory. In addition, we will be streaming the talk on Zoom (Zoom ID: 941 7238 0365 – Pass code: 432 106).
