Event: International caesar Conferences
“Missing links in neuroscience: Bridging scales in theory and experiment”
June 5th – 6th, 2018, caesar Bonn
The upcoming 7th international caesar conference will bring together outstanding scientists from both experimental and theoretical neuroscience. It will take place between June 5th and 6th, 2018.
In science, matters of scale are often crucial. This is especially true when it comes to neuroscience. Neural information processing takes place on numerous temporal and spatial scales, ranging from subcellular processes up to the level of the whole organism of behaving animals. Yet, how does one bridge between these scales? How do you integrate data from this enormous spectrum into coherent theories and experiments?
The upcoming international caesar conference will bring together a range of outstanding scientists from both experimental and theoretical neuroscience. The aim is to foster discussions on how to bridge between relevant scales of brain structure and function as well as between experimental data, numerical simulations and conceptual models.
